October 8, 1936 ~ June 25, 2017 (age 80) 80 Years OldJoanne Nichols Ward, 80, of Cuthbert passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Cuthbert First Baptist Church with interment to follow in East View Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward was born on October 8, 1936 in Cuthbert the daughter of the late Homer Ezra Nichols and the late Mamie Inez Clenney Nichols. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Dr. Samuel Jackson Ward.
Survivors include 3 daughters; Deborah Ward (Tim) White of Shellman, Carol Denise Ward House of Cuthbert and Donna Ward Callaway of Edison, 6 grandchildren; Tony House, Joanna (Chase) Floyd, Erin (Branon) Pate, Ward (Julie) Jackson, Jack Callaway and Leah Callaway, 3 great grandchildren; Marley Jo Floyd, Jon Beecher Floyd and Hollyn Grace Pate.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
