FRANCES LOUISE BURNS

Frances Louise Burns, 83, of Cuthbert formerly of Eufaula, AL, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in the Joe-Anne Burgin Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight-Saving Time on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with Rev. David Crowdis officiating. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday at 4:00 Central Daylight-Saving Time in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Eufaula, AL. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 PM until service time in the funeral home.

Mrs. Burns was born on February 27, 1941, in Eufaula, AL the daughter of the late Jack Suggs and the late Atranta Strickland Suggs. She retired from Mann’s Bait in Eufaula, was a Homemaker and a member of Emanuel Holiness Church in Eufaula. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, L D Burns, daughter, Pauline Elmore and brother, James David Suggs.

Survivors include her daughter, Joyce (Adrian) Burns Taylor of Cuthbert, 2 sons, Robert (Ginger) Burns and George Samuel Burns both of Cuthbert, a sister, Dorothy (Roland) Hamilton, of TX, 2 brothers, Johnnie (Olga) Suggs of Eufaula, AL and Edward (Mary) Suggs of  Dothan Yancey, AL, 7 grandchildren, Jacqueline (Mike) Duey, Amanda (Scott) Elmore, Kimberly (Jacob) Toole, Timothy (Kala) Elmore, Nina (Tray) Lambert, Katy Burns, and Emma Burns and 24 great grandchildren.
