ARTHUR WILLIAM BEHLAND, III

Arthur William Behland, III, 70 of Ft. Gaines, GA left this world to be with Jesus on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Ft. Gaines Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hines officiating.

Mr. Behland was born on July 18, 1948 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Arthur William Behland, Jr. and Joan Selonki Behland. He was retired from the United States Post Office, was an Air Force Veteran and was a member of the Ft. Gaines Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Katrine Davis Behland of Ft. Gaines, 3 step sons, Clint (Megan) Hammond of Parrott, Jeremy Hammond and Rod Hammond both of Albany, a sister, Karen Collins of VA and a step granddaughter, Skylar Hammond.

In Lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Ft. Gaines Baptist Church Bereavement fund.
