CHARLES RICHARDSON PATE, JR

Charles Richardson Pate, Jr. of Richland, GA passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his residence.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in the Red Hill Christian Church Cemetery near Richland with Rev. Brad Faircloth officiating.

Charles was born on January 13, 1977 in Columbus, GA the son of Charles Richardson Pate, Sr. and Jackie Lipsey Pate. He attended Columbus tech for 3 years and was a member of the Christian Faith. He was a collector of many comic memorabilia specially Star Wars and Captain America. He was an avid shooter, loved golf and loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. He was a loving father to his two great sons. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Myrtice and Jack Lipsey and his paternal grandparents, Amelia and Alfred Pate.

Survivors include his parents, Charles Richardson (Duttie) Pate, Sr. and Jackie Lipsey Pate of Richland and 2 sons, Jon Colin Pate of Americus, GA and Hayden Charles Pate of Columbus, GA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Stewart Webster Cancer Fund at 6381 Hamilton St. Preston, GA 31824 or to the namiga.org.
