Cathryn (Simpson) Green
June 14, 1938 ~ January 19, 2018 (age 79) 79 Years OldCathryn Simpson Green, 79, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 in Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Faith Baptist Church with interment to follow in East View Cemetery. Rev. Ben McFather will officiate.
Mrs. Green was born on June 14, 1938 in Henry County AL the daughter of the late Walter Frank and Mary Jordan Simpson. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and served as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for 43 years with Patterson Hospital and Joe Anne Burgin Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; William Robert “Bud” Green.
Survivors include a daughter; Jennifer G. Cotton of Cuthbert, 2 sons; William J. “Jeff” (Margie) Green and Tracy L. (Anne) Green both of Cuthbert, 3 brothers; Frank (Sonia) Simpson of Yorktown, VA, Johnny Simpson of Cuthbert and Clifford (Claudia) Simpson of Hartselle, AL, 3 grandchildren; Amanda Beltran, Michael Green and Danny Green and 2 great grandchildren; Aiden Beltran and Joshua Beltran.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
