Glover Wallace Ammons, 87 of Trotman, GA passed away on Friday, September 06, 2019 in St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the Cuthbert East View Cemetery with Rev. Bill Timmons officiating.
Mr. Ammons was born on September 22, 1931 in Cuthbert the son of the late George Benjamin and Josie Dee Meeks Ammons. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Millie Edwards Ammons, a son, Jerry Flowers and a brother, Donald Ammons.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle (Darrell) Cobb of Trotman, a daughter-in-law, Joan Jackson Flowers of Trotman, a brother, George Emory Ammons of Lumpkin, 3 grandsons, Randy Flowers of Trotman, Scott (Celena) Flowers of Leesburg, GA and Kevin (Sandy) Flowers of Cuthbert and 5 great grandchildren.
