Joan (Sauls) Morris

Joan Sauls Morris, 76, of Edison passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her residence. Memorial funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 22, 2017 in the New Light Freewill Baptist Church near Morgan with Rev. Joe Murkerson officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Morris was born on August 24, 1941 in Shellman the daughter of the late Charlie Herman and Mary Lawson Sauls. She was a high school graduate, a Home Maker and a member of the New Light Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Wayne Morris.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Lori (Andy) Wilson of Cuthbert and Amy (Mike) Pierce of Edison, a son; Steven (Lesa) Morris of Foley, AL, a brother; Charles R. Sauls of Nashville, TN, 4 grandchildren; Morgan Tomblin, Courtney Settles, Erin Pierce and Emily Pierce, 2 great grandchildren; Gracen Settles  and Rylee Settles and a number of nieces and nephews.
