Patricia (Milner) Brookins

Patricia Milner Brookins, 72, passed away Monday June 11, 2018 at her residence in Ft. Gaines, Ga.Graveside funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Friday June 15, 2018 in New Park Cemetery with Rev. Randy Stokes officiating.

Mrs. Brookins was born Dec. 19, 1945 in Cuthbert the daughter of the late Malcolm Dobb and Jewell Virginia Reynolds Milner. She was co-owner and operator of Fort Gaines Ice Plant for years until it closed and retired from Walmart in Eufaula AL.

Survivors include a daughter, Melisa Brookins of Ashford AL., a brother, Sonny Howard Milner, 3 sisters, Twilla M. Georgiades, Starlett M. Jennings and Toni M. Mackey all of Morgan, Ga., 8 Grandchildren, Mason Hunter, Noah Trawick, Anna Walls, Kayla Mobley, Marly Lynn, Addie Hudspeth, Lilly Hudspeth and Ella Gay, 5 Great Grandchildren, a step mother, Patsy B. Milner and a long time best friend Sharon Salyer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Holmes Brookins, her father, Malcolm Dobb Milner, her mother, Jewell Virginia Reynolds Crapps, a sister, Dola Milner and a daughter, Julie Lynn.

The family will receive friends Friday morning at the graveside from 9:30 AM until service time.
