Patricia T. Hatcher, 80 of Coleman passed away on Tuesday, November, 13, 2018 in the Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vilulah Baptist Church with Rev. David Murphy officiating.
Mrs. Hatcher was born on May 18, 1938 in Edison, GA the daughter of the late P. H. Thompson, B.B. Bush and Hazel Shiver Thompson Bush. She was a graduate of Baker High School, AJC Nursing School and Moody Bible School. She retired as a nurse from Phoebe Putney Hospital, worked for a number of years with home health care and worked as a volunteer at the Clothes Closet. She was an avid gardener, growing vegetables and flowers especially unusual varieties. She loved art, antiques, and genealogy and estate sales. She was a member of the Vilulah Baptist Church where she loved VBC and studying the Bible. She was a wonderful Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Esther and J. R. Hatcher.
Survivors include her husband, Delvin Hatcher of Coleman, 2 daughters, Mai (Steve) Bell of Albany and Mytra (David) McLeod of Mitchell County, 2 sons, Greg Musgrove of Cuthbert and Shane (Missy) Hatcher of Albany, a sister, Linda (Jimmy) Kolbie of Pelham, a brother, P. H. “Sonny” (Susan) Thompson of Arlington, grandchildren, Sara Herring, Katie H. Schmeltzer, Nicole Musgrove, Logan Frost, Tanner Musgrove, Mason Musgrove, Parker Musgrove, Heather Adams, David McLeod, Stephanie Tacket, Waylan Hatcher, Kimberly Carter and Andrew Hatcher and 14 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 until funeral time at the church.
