Agnes Hammock Ford Bynum, 90, of the Pachitla Community Cuthbert, passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery near Shellman with Rev. Morris Monkus officiating.

Mrs. Bynum was born on June 8, 1929 in Edison, GA the daughter of the late Bennie Hammock and Annie Johnson Hammock. She was a, wife, mother, homemaker and a life long member of the Rehoboth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, William Bynum Ford and second husband, Robert Compton (Bob) Bynum, a brother Thomas Hammock, an aunt, Maude Johnson and a grandson, Michael Bynum Ware.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Gwen (James) Ware of Calhoun, GA, Barbara Ford of Ruskin, FL, Gail (Jon) McUmber of Warner Robins, GA and Susan (Ray) Wood of Cuthbert, 2 grandchildren, Marie Ware Taylor and Amanda Sue Wood, 5 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rehoboth Baptist Church, P. O. Box 291 Shellman, GA 39886 or to Affinis Hospice, 507 N. Jefferson St. Albany, GA 31701. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM.
