Alva Clinton Yelverton, 60, of Benevolence, GA died on Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Joe-Anne Burgin Nursing Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in the Benevolence Cemetery with Rev. Lee Wright officiating.

Al was born on October 17, 1960 in Cuthbert, GA the son of the late Joseph Eli Yelverton, Sr. and Lynette Peak Yelverton. He was a retired farmer, a graduate of Randolph County High School and a member of the Benevolence Methodist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Lynette P. Yelverton of Cuthbert, a daughter, Casey Yelverton of Statesboro, GA, a son, Cody Yelverton of Tifton, GA, a sister, Lynn (Larry) Adkinson of Benevolence, 2 brothers, Joe (Shirley) Yelverton of Cuthbert and Mike Yelverton of Columbus and a granddaughter, Kyla Morrison.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at P. O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Friends are welcome however social distancing will be required. The family will receive friends at the home of Lynn Adkinson at 134 N. Main St. in Benevolence.
