Amelia Edwards Sanders, 77, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 in the Joe Anne Burgin Nursing Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Williams officiating.

Mrs. Amelia was born on March 7, 1942 in Coleman, GA the daughter of the late John H. and Linnie Salome Hodges Edwards. She loved working with her flowers and was a member of Union United Methodist Church at Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Sanders, a son, John Wayne Sanders, 5 sisters, Annie Lee Mainor, Icyvene Addison, Mary Addison, Millie Ammons and Elizabeth Lane and a brother, Robert Edwards.

Survivors include a sister, Monteene (Clarence) E. Jones of Cuthbert, a brother, David (Faith) Edwards of Albany and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
