Annette was born on November 13, 1942, in Albany, GA the daughter of the late Eugene Watson Bailey and the late Nettie Frances Wallace Bailey. She was a graduate of Terrell High School, where she played basketball and was active in many various school activities.
After graduation she moved to Boynton Beach, FL where she lived with her Aunt Margie and worked at Publix Supermarket. She enjoyed going to the beach and attending many church activities after work. She became homesick and moved back to Dawson, GA where she worked as a switchboard operator for the Dawson Phone Company.
Her beloved cousin, Martha (Mathews) Curry, introduced her in the Dairy Queen parking lot to who would become her future husband, Oscar Ryan Aycock, Sr. who she was married to for 45 years. She became a Farm Wife at that point and anyone who is in the farming industry knows what that job title means: Not just a wife, but a Farm Wife. In addition to those duties, she was also a mother, a school volunteer for Randolph Southern, and a church volunteer. She enjoyed camping in the mountains to see the leaves change color and boat riding at Lake Seminole.
Annette was a member of Carnegie Baptist Church in Carnegie, GA and loved to bake cupcakes for wedding and baby showers of the other church members. In her later years, she liked to watch all versions of NCIS on television, loved to eat ice cream, and drink sweet tea. She is preceded in death by her parents, "Watson and Chig" and her late husband Oscar.
Survivors include her daughter, Loretta Aycock Kalember, son-in-law, Mike Kalember, and a son Ryan Aycock. She also has a sister, Mary-Jean Nobles, two brothers, Joe (Peggy) Bailey and Mathew (Bonnie) Bailey in addition to many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Annette is finally at peace with no more suffering and is home with her heavenly father. Also, we would like to thank our kind ladies who helped take care of Mrs. Annette, Mrs. Annie, Mrs. Carolyn, and Mrs. Nancy, so she could stay in her own home, Memorials can be made to Willson Hospice House at 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707or on the website.
