Annette Rigsby Jackson, 85, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Broadview Assisted Living in Tallahassee. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in East View Cemetery in Shellman, GA with Rev. Olin Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Jackson was born on March 7, 1930 in the Pachitla Community the daughter of the late Clifford Gordon Rigsby and the late Addie Mae Grimes. She was a teacher's aide at Randolph Southern School and a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ed Jackson, a son, Al Jackson and 2 brothers, Lawrence Rigsby and Lester Rigsby.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Karen J. (Dick) Matthiesen of Tavares, FL and Lauren J. (Ray) Geiger of Tallahassee, Fl, a brother, Wilton Rigsby of Cuthbert, 3 grandchildren, Joanna Jackson (Chase) Floyd, Jackson Geiger and Ward Jackson and 2 great grandchildren, Marley Jo Floyd and Beecher Floyd.

Memorials may be made to the Shellman First Baptist Church at P. O. Box 205 Shellman, GA 39886 or to Big Bend Hospice at 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, FL 32308-5428. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home
