Annette Tillie Layfield Plowden, 90 of Cuthbert passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020 in the Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2020 in the Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Michael Williams officiating.

Mrs. Plowden was born on January 12, 1930 in Milledgeville, GA the daughter of the late John Wiley and Gladys Miriam Jordan Layfield, Sr. She was a Homemaker, a member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church, Bridge Club and the Cuthbert Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Benjamin Franklin Plowden, Sr. and a daughter-in-law, Jane Garrett Plowden.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam (Bill) Cleveland of Ft. Gaines, 2 sons, Ben F. (Deb) Plowden, Jr. and John Robert "Rob" Plowden both of Cuthbert, a sister, Maryann Horst of Panama City, FL, a brother, John Layfield, Jr. of Rockmart, GA, 4 grandchildren, Jackie, Julie, Michael and Natalie and 4 great grandchildren, Mary Riley, Nix, Hayden and Gabe.
