Annie Lee Hancock, 84, of Preston, Ga. passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in the Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2014 in Foreman Cemetery near Preston with Rev. Robert Orr officiating.

Mrs. Hancock was born on May 3, 1930 in Stewart County the daughter of the late Charlie C. Lane and Anna Mae Davis Lane. She was a Home Maker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William E. "Bill" Hancock, Jr., a daughter, Linda Carol Hancock, 2 sons, John Rufus Hancock and Floyd Terrell Hancock, 2 brothers, Charlie Richard Lane and William Edward Lane and 2 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Lane Whatley and Lila Mae Blankenship.

Survivors include 3 sons, Sam Hancock of Sasser, Ronnie Hancock of Blakely and Jerry Hancock of Preston, a sister, Lillian Pickin of Sasser, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday.
