Anthony Wayne Lee, 78, of Shellman passed away Saturday Feb. 13, 2016 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday Feb. 17, 2016 in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, Ga. with the Rev. Jim Eubanks officiating.

Mr. Lee was born Jan. 12, 1938 in Dawson, Ga. the son of the late William and Myrtle McPherson Lee. He was a High School Graduate and was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired from General Telephone Co. as Installer and Repairman Supervisor and also from Quality Gin Co. in Shellman.

Survivors include 2 sons, Tony (Jill) Lee and Tim Lee both of Shellman, a sister, Carol (Jimmy) Bass, 3 Sister-in-laws, Joyce Lee, Virginia Lee and Christine Lee;  5 grandchildren Britany Lee, Christina Lee of Leesburg, Ga., Amber Lee, Zack Lee, and Daylon Lee of Shellman.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Barbara Jean McGee Lee, 5 brothers, W.A. Lee, Cecil Lee, Frank Lee, Mack Lee and Raymond Lee and 5 sisters, Lillian Louk, Billie Bridges, Sara Tatum, Patsy McDonald and Jewel Schramm.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday Feb. 16, 2016 at Curry funeral home.
