Ben Mote, 98, of Edison passed away on Tuesday, April 07, 2020 in the Joe Anne Burgin Nursing Home in Cuthbert. In honor on Mr. Mote's request no services will be conducted at this time.

Mr. Mote was born on December 27, 1921 in Dickey, GA the son of the late William M. "Bill" and Linda Jane Phipps Mote. He was a retired Farmer, a World War II Army Veteran, a graduate of Morgan High School and a member of the Dickey Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Beulah Mae Love Mote, a daughter, Jean Mote, a sister, Betty Mote Britto and 2 brothers, Dan Mote and Jack Mote.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Louise (Charles) Porter of Edison and Sarah Helen Killgore of Decatur, and a brother, Jerry Mote of Americus.
