Bessie Ruth Pereau, 79, of Fort Gaines, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at her residence. No funeral services will be conducted at this time.

Mrs. Pereau was born on February 16, 1935 in Little Rock, Ark. the daughter of the late Clifford and Alma Story Trammel. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and a Home Maker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Lisa Rhodes.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Pereau of Ft. Gaines, a son, David Pereau of Philadelphia, PA., 3 daughters, Deborah Foltz of Raton, NM., Linda Mucelli of Sante, CA. and Dana Lea Bryant of Sante, CA., 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
