Billy Stewart (Bill) Cromer, 83, of Shellman died Tuesday July 16, 2013 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery near Shellman at 2:00 PM on Thursday July 18, 2013 with Mr. Horace Keen officiating

Mr. Cromer was born on November 27, 1929 in Americus the son of the late Clarence Wesley Cromer and Laura Jones Cromer. He was a retired Farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawson. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Nancy Cromer.

Survivors include a son: John Cromer Durham and his wife Barbara Ellen of Leesburg, two daughters; Laura Cromer Bonner and her husband Rick of Mobile and Ann Cromer Stabler and her husband David of Lake Blackshear, three brothers; Sam Cromer, Julian Cromer and Clarence Cromer all of Americus, a sister; Betty Grover of Michigan, six grandchildren; J. D. Stabler, Alisha Stabler, Teresa Bonner and her fiancée Justus Browning, Billy Bonner and his wife Katie, Jackson Durham and Katie Bell Durham, six great grandchildren; Reese Browning, Luke Browning, Braxton Bonner, Lilly Bonner, Mary Elizabeth Bonner and Sarah Ellis Bonner.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday at the residence.
