Billy Ray Harris, 66, of Shellman died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will conducted on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM in East View Cemetery in Cuthbert with Tim Peachy and Dr. Ben McFather officiating.

Mr. Harris was born on July 21, 1947 in Weston WV the son of the late Ray Taylor and Anna Jett Harris. He was employed by Peerless Manufacturing in Shellman and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. He was  preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Addison Harris and a son, Truett Turner, Jr.

Survivors include seven sons, Troy (Jada) Harris, Kevin (Tori) Harris, Chad Harris all of Shellman, Robert (Karen) Harris of California, James McClain of Plains, Marty (Shelia) Cannington of Cairo and Jamie (Shannon) Turner of Albany, two daughters, Jennifer (Frankie) Goza of Dawson and Lisa (Lamar) Hilton of Edison, seventeen grandchildren and a great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
