William Carey Baldwin, 74, of Cuthbert, GA passed away suddenly on Monday, June 30, 2025, as a result of injuries received in an auto accident. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the Damascus Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until funeral time on Saturday in the church.

Carey was born on December 13, 1950, in Cuthbert, GA the son of the late David "Bud" Guyton Baldwin, Jr. and the late Margaret Jeanette Ragan Baldwin. He was a graduate of Randolph County High School, attended South Georgia Tech in Americus, a 6-year veteran of the Georgia National Guard, employed as a knife sharper for Melton Logging and a member of Vilulah Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Margaret (Jimmy) Sisson of Coleman, brother, Gus (Libba) Baldwin, life partner, Linda Rice of Cuthbert, 2 nieces, Jennifer (Danny) Kuykendoll and Mollie (Terry) Tyson and nephew, David (Mindy) Baldwin.
