Carolyn Drew Sheffield, 79, of Cuthert, died on March 6, 2014 at Phoebe Putney North Hospital in Albany. Funeral services willbe conducted on Sunday, March 9th at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Coleman Cemetery.

Mrs. Burnett was born October 6, 1934 at home in Cedar Springs, Ga., the daughter of the late James Guerry and Ida Lou Sheffield. She was a homemaker, farmer and a charter member of Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, James and a son Jimmy. She took pride in being called the best Grandmother.

Mrs. Burnett is survived by two daughters, Drusilla Whatley and her husband Roger and Denise Boyett and her husband Mike all of Cuthbert, a son, Joel Burnett and his wife Angela of Moncks Corner, SC., ten grandchildren, Guerry Burnett and his wife Malanie of Cuthbert, Dale Boyett of Cuthbert, Timothy Burnett and his wife Stephanie of Arlington, Douglas Whatley of Tifton, Matthew Burnett and Cecily of Blakely, Tiffany Ashley and her husband Josh of Edison, Amber Boyett of Cuthbert, Davin Whatley of Cuthbert, Landrum Burnett of Cuthbert and Faith Burnett of Moncks Corner, SC., two great grandchildren, Adam Burnett of Arlington and Shanley Burnett of Blakely, a brother, Ed Sheffield and a brother-in-law, William Burnett and his wife Gloria and lots of dearly loved nieces and nephews.

All of the grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers. In Lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Faith Baptist Church P. O. Box 75 Cuthbert, GA. 39840. The family will recieve friends on Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
