CAROLYN LEDDEN TAYLOR

Minnie Carolyn Ledden Taylor, affectionately known as Carolyn, entered her heavenly home on August 17, 2026, at the age of 93. A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Georgia, she was a faithful member of the Damascus Baptist Church community and a woman whose life reflected her deep love for God, family, and others.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Taylor; her cherished daughter, Debbie Taylor Jenkins; her grandson, Christopher Jenkins, her brother, Allen Ledden, and her sister, Allene Ledden.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory, including her son, Robert “Bobby” Taylor, Jr. and his wife, Laura; her son-in-law, Tommy Jenkins; and her siblings her brother Charles Ledden; and her sister, Barbara Ledden Greene seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Carolyn’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with loved ones, friends, and coworkers. One of the most treasured traditions she created was gathering everyone around the family piano to sing gospel hymns, filling the home with music, laughter, and faith.

Her unwavering trust in Jesus Christ shaped every aspect of her life. She believed wholeheartedly that salvation is found through Him alone, and she lived each day with kindness, humility, and integrity. Carolyn’s strength, loving heart, and steadfast faith touched all who knew her.

Her family rejoices in the blessing of her long life and countless memories she leaves behind. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to inspire generations to come.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in the Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Reaves officiating and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until funeral time in the church.
