James Chad Torbert, 54, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, in the Southeast Medical Center in Dothan. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in the Vilulah Baptist Church Cemetery near Coleman, GA with Rev. Lee Wright officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday before the service in the cemetery.

Chad was born on October 8, 1971, in Cuthbert, GA the son of the late Ronald Jack Torbert and Wanda Spratling Torbert. He attended Andrew College after graduating from Randolph Clay High School, was self-employed contractor with T & T Construction and was a member of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Jack Torbert.

Survivors include his daughter, Livvy Torbert, son, Jackson Torbert, and his mother, Wanda Spratling Torbert, all of Cuthbert.
