HEPHZIBAH, GA.

CHARLES MAX (TRAE) LOCKWOOD, III

Charles Max (Trae) Lockwood, III  52 of Hephzibah, Ga.  passed away Sunday April 9, 2023 at his residence. Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 PM Saturday April 15, 2023 in Eastview Cemetery in Cuthbert, Ga. with the Rev. Jim  Eubanks officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 3:45 PM at Lunsford Funeral Home until service time.

Mr. Lockwood was born Jan. 15, 1971 in Okinawa Japan the son of Charles Max Lockwood Jr. and Debbie Dixon Baxter. He was a graduate of Randolph Southern High School and attended the University Phoenix. He was a retired history teacher and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a veteran of the US Marines Corps.

Survivors include his wife Luciana Lockwood of Hephzibah, 2 sons Charles Max Lockwood IV, Hunter Gavin Lockwood of Hephzibah, Ga., his father Charles Max Lockwood Jr, of Douglas, Ga., a brother Kent Giles of Cuthbert, Ga., a sister  Summer (Jamie) Loyd of Columbus, Ga., and a half sister Amanda Lockwood of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his mother Debra Dixon Baxter
