Cody Wade Roland, 29, of Smithville passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM in East View Cemetery with Rev. David Benton officiating.

Cody was born on August 4, 1986 in Albany the son of the late Melvin Earl Roland and Sharon Brooks Roland. He was a self-employed painter.

Survivors include his mother, Sharon Brooks Roland of Smithville, a sister, Sonya Roland Sapp and her husband Doug Sapp of Leesburg, niece, Brittany Sapp of Atlanta, aunt Deborah Davis of Leesburg, cousins, Brandie and Tim Chappell of Doerun and 2 ^nd cousins, Kori, Logan and Karley.
