Obituary
D K Merritt, 70, of Shellman, GA passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November, 25 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with interment in East View Cemetery. Rev. Clyde Johns will officiate.
D K was born on November 12, 1945 in Cuthbert the son of the late Bud Merritt and the late Eunice Turner Merritt. He was a self-employed wielder and a member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Holley Merritt of Shellman, 4 daughters, Michelle Rinehart of Panama City, FL, Danielle Cosnahan of Macon, GA, Beth Klear of Hudson, FL and Kaddie Addison of Cuthbert, a sister, Betty Slappey of Dothan, AL and 7 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Lunsford Funeral Home on Wednesdy from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.
