John Daniel "Danny" Cobb, 72, of Morgan passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in the Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, AL. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in the Morgan City Cemetery with Rev. Randy Spicer officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour before the service in the cemetery.

Danny was born on February 3, 1952, in Edison, GA the son of the late Henry and Mattie Reese Cobb. He worked for Taylor Farms for 30 years, was a truck driver, and helped Jason Worthy with cows. He was a graduate of Calhoun County High School, Albany Vocational Technical School and was a faithful member of Morgan Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years Callie Louise Cobb, his parents, and brothers, Raymond Cobb, Kenneth Cobb, Jimmy Cobb and William "Bill" Cobb.

He is survived by his children, Deanna Cobb of Morgan, GA Roy (Tonia) Fellows of Morgan, GA, Teresa Fellows of Edison, GA, and Marla (Chris) Edmondson of Wesley Chapel, FL, four grandchildren, J. T. Fellows, Colby Fellows, Danielle (Nicholas) Conner, McKenzie Sellers; one great grandchild, Callei Conner; sisters, Faye (Rodney) Rogers, Kay Rogers of Abbeville, AL; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and family friends and fur child of 10 years, Oreo.

Serving as pallbearers are Michael Shaw, JP Love, Robert Potts, Ross Worthy, Nicholas Worthy, and James Reese. Honorary pallbearers are Joel Beard, Gene Prater, Terry Langston, Carol Varnum, Eddie Walls, Jason Worthy, and Jay Arnold.
