DELORES FAIRCLOTH

Delores Inez Brock Faircloth, 83, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Cuthbert First Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Ziglar and Rev. Marty Brock officiating. Interment will follow at 4:00 PM in the Dellwood Baptist Church Cemetery near Bainbridge.

Delores was born on January 31, 1943, in Bainbridge, GA the daughter of the late Clayton Oliver Brock and the late Orion Harrell Brock. She was a graduate of Decatur County High School in Bainbridge and retired as Quality Control Manager for Kellwood Corp. She was a very involved and active member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Ervin “Tommy” Faircloth, and her siblings, Douglas, Kenneth, Carl, Phyllis, Tony, and Jimmy.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Tammy Faircloth of Dothan, AL, Shanda Ashley of Edison and Alicia (Mike) Varnum of Leary, GA, a sister, Sherrie (Jerry) Culver of Villa Rica, GA, 3 brothers, Richard Brock, Sr. of Bainbridge, Marty (Donna) Brock of Bainbridge, and Steve (Lucy) Brock of Donalsonville, GA, 6 grandchildren, Michael (Alyson) Varnum, Amanda (Chandler) Farley, Keely (Scott) Caul, Patrick Andrews, Josh (Tiffany) Ashley, and Hayden (Shelby) Ashley, 7 great grandchildren, Piper Andrews, Rylen Caul, Elle Caul, Andrew Ashley, Paisley Ashley, Rosie Farley, and Ruby Farley, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Patrich Andrews, Michael Varnum, Joshua Ashley, Hayden Ashley, Mike Varnum, and Dewayne Beckum and serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chandler Farley, Scott Caul, and Rylen Caul.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church renovation fund at P. O. Box 274 Cuthbert, GA 39840. The family will receive friends on Monday in the First Baptist Church from 12:30 PM until funeral time.
