Diana Bell Whaley, 82, of Shellman, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the Shellman Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Hall Grimmett and Beverly Everett officiating.

Mrs. Whaley was born on September 16, 1934 in Shellman the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Laura Bentley Bell. She was a mother, a high school graduate, home maker, baker, retired Bank Teller with The First State Bank of Randolph Co. Shellman Branch and a member of the Shellman United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Homer Latrelle Whaley. She enjoyed many crafts over the years including making flower arrangements, painting ceramics and all other type of crafts.

Survivors include her 2 daughters; Phyllis (Patrick) Mason of Salisbury, NC. and Trella Whaley of Shellman, a sister-in-law; Peggy Bell of Shellman, several nieces and nephews and younger generations.
