Don Henderson, 93, of Cuthbert passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in East View Cemetery with Rev. Ben Crowdis officiating.

Mr. Henderson was born on August 26, 1922 in Crenshaw County, AL the son of the late Ruben and Emma McLeod Henderson. He retired from the Corp of Engineers after 22 years, was a member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church and was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Helen Brown Henderson.

Survivors include 3 daughters; Phyllis Wallace and her fiance' Adarin Farley of Andalusia, AL, Glenda Crozier and Donnis (David) Rigsby both of Cuthbert, a sister; Joyce Lindsey of Smith Station, AL, 2 grandchildren; Susan Canady and Donald Crozier and 2 great grandchildren; Caitlyn Ann Canady and Avery Grace Canady.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
