Henry Donald "Don" Sinquefield, 89, of Cuthbert passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the residence of his daughter. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Cuthbert First Baptist Church with Rev. Tracy Brinson and Rev. Fred Collins officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Mr. Don was born on December 28, 1929 in Carnegie the son of the late John Henry and Clyde Melton Sinquefield. He retired from the United States Post Office after 56 years and was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church for 62 years serving as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and as the Treasurer. He loved to build and fix things and also to go traveling and camping.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mildred "MiMi" Hooks Sinquefield of Cuthbert, a daughter, Donna Sinquefield (Shane) Yelverton of Cuthbert, a sister, Virginia (Jimmy) Joyner of Cocoa Beach, FL, a brother, John Warren Sinquefield of Baton Rouge, LA, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Cuthbert First Baptist Church Building Fund at P. O. Box 274 Cuthbert, GA 39840. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
