DONNA YELVERTON

Donna Maria Sinquefield Yelverton, 63, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in the Mattie Marshall Center in Americus. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Yelverton officiating. Private interment will be conducted later. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until funeral time at the funeral home.

Donna was born on November 9, 1962, the daughter of the late Henry Donald “Don” Sinquefield and Mildred “MiMi” Hooks Sinquefield. After graduating from Randolph Southern High School in Shellman she continued her education and received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She retired as a registered nurse with the Randolph County Health Department and was a member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Robert Edward “Bobby” Lee Goodbread.

Survivors include her husband, Shane Yelverton of Cuthbert, mother, Mildred “MiMi” Sinquefield of Americus, 2 daughters, Melissa (Kerry) Dupree and Chesley (Herman) Ekkel both of Americus, 2 sons, Stephen Goodbread and Ben (Amanda) Yelverton of Unadilla, and 8 grandchildren, Alicia Cassidy, Allison Yelverton, Brooklyn Goodbread, Mia Dupree, Shaley Dupree, Grace Dickerson, Declan Ekkel and Holton Ekkel.
