Doris McCorkle Culbreth, 95, of Edison, GA. died Tuesday December 10, 2013 in the Miller County Hospital in Colquitt. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Thursday December 12, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Crowdis officiating.

Mrs. Culbreth was born on September 13, 1918 in Edison, GA. the daughter of the late William Sidney and Bonnie Holloway McCorkle. She was a a Home Maker and a member of Salem Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher for over 60 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Becky (Jack) Morrell of Albany, a brother, Donald McCorkle of Albany, two sisters, Barbara Ferguson of Cuthbert and Hilda Vann of Sasser and two granddaughters, Cathy (Scott) Gore of Cypress, TX. and Sandy Morrell of Warwick.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at Lunsford Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Memorials made be made to the Georgia Sherriffs Youth Home, Inc. at P. O. Box 1000 Stockbridge, GA. 30281-9878.
