Doris Godbee Gormley, 63, of Edison passed away Wednesday Dec. 11, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.  The family will be conducting funeral services, with the Rev. Jack Cowart officiating.

Mrs. Gormley was born Feb. 19, 1956 in Miami, FL the daughter of the late Herbert Gordan and Vallie Virginia Godbee. She was a Southern Baptist and retired from Calhoun Corrections working in Medical Records. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Haley Duke.

Survivors include her husband, of 39 years James Michael Gormley of Edison, a son, Kris (Jennifer) McCray of Shellman, a daughter, Michelle Duke of Edison, a sister, Patricia Dunham of Leesburg and 3 grandchildren, Bryan, Kristopher, Samuel.
