Dorothy Parlee Henson

FT. GAINES, GA

Dorothy Parlee Henson, 95, of the Cotton Hill Community near Fort Gaines, Ga. died Saturday Aug. 30, 2014 at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday Sept. 2, 2014, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Hartley officiating.

Miss. Henson was a Homemaker and a Caregiver. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister Grace Henson Osteen and a sister-in-law Elsie Mills Henson, Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and caregivers Johnnie Mae Christian, Wanda Ferguson and Carole Hoyt.

Miss Henson was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Luther Henson and Nancy Harbison Henson, her brothers Amey Henson (Erie Moore Henson) Andrew Jackson Henson and sister Fannie Henson Kuykendoll.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday Sept. 1, 2014 at Lunsford Funeral Home, Cuthbert, Ga.
