DOUG WALLER

Douglas “Doug” Wayne Waller, 61, of Shellman, GA died on Monday, February 9, 2026, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the Shellman Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Chet Anderson and Rev. Paul Buckhiester officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday in the Shellman First Baptist Church Bethea Building.

Doug was born on September 22, 1964, in Dawson, GA the son of Jane Wooten Waller and Johnnie Elihue Waller, III. He received an associate’s degree from Abraham Baildwin Agriculture College and a bachelor's degree from Lagrange College. He was a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church and was a self-employed Landscaper.

Survivors include his mother, Jane Wooten Waller of Shellman, GA, father, Johnnie Waller of Leslie, GA, sister, Deirdre (Bubba) Casey of Leesburg, GA, 2 nieces, Jennifer Spencer and Bentley (Colby) Deese, nephew, Jack Shumate, 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews. Special thanks to his caregivers, Donna Daniels, Leigh Edwards, Claudette and Michael Hayes, Tommy McCook, Taylor Harris, and Lifelong friend, Jason Melton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shellman Brotherhood at P. O. Box 119 Shellman, GA 39886 or to the Rehoboth Ranch at P. O. Box 208 Morgan, GA 39866.
