Rev. Dwayne George Greene, 59 of Albany passed away on Friday, June 07, 2019 in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. David Crowdis, Dr. Ben McFather and Rev. Shannon Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Greene was born on April 28, 1960 in Cuthbert the son of the late William "Bill" George Greene and Shirley Peak Greene. He was the retired facilities Director for Dougherty County and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. He was the former Pastor for the Carnegie Baptist Church in Carnegie, GA. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, David Michael Greene.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Simpson Greene of Albany, his mother, Shirley Peak Greene of Cuthbert, 2 daughters, Brandi McHan of Moultrie and Amanda (Ryan) Darby of Fleming, FL a son, Matthew (fiancé Lauren) Greene of Athens, a sister, Debra (Harold) G. Kleckley of Cuthbert, a brother, Danley (fiancé Charme) Greene of Cuthbert and 5 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
