Earl Dwight Brown,Jr.  83,  of Columbus died Saturday Aug. 18, 2012, at the Medical Center in Columbus. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, August 27, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Greenwood Cemetery in Cuthbert.

Mr Brown was born January 14, 1929 in New Orleans, NY, son of the late Earl Dwight and Clara Brown. He was a retired mechanical engineer and was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Columbus.

Survivors include his wife Geraldine "Jerry" Marchman Brown of Columbus, a son Jeffery Brown of Houston, TX, a sister, Dorothy Novack of Toms  River, NJ, a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Linda Haggar of Syracuse, NY.

The family will reciece friends, Monday August 27, 2012 at Lunsford Funeral Home from 11:00 to 11:45 AM.
