Levy "Earl" Houston, 81, of Shellman, GA passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Calhoun Nursing Home surrounded by his immediate family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2024, in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Shellman Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Leaman Foxworth officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until funeral time at the funeral home.

Earl was born on August 22, 1943, in Coffee County, AL the son of the late Raymond Ralph Houston and the late Cammie Mattie Parrish Houston. Earl, also known to some as "the car man" spent most of his career in the car business. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a deep love for the beach, BBQ, coaching baseball and softball, Alabama Football, dogs and enjoyed yard selling on the weekend.

Earl was preceded in death by his father Raymond Ralph Houston, his mother, Cammie Mattie Houston, his brother, Ray Andrew Houston, his sister, Faye Ellen Houston and his son Steven Earl Houston.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Houston, his daughter, Dara (Lance) Cooper of Lake Mary, FL, his son, Matthew (Maci) Houston of Cuthbert, GA, his son, Shay Houston of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Miller Ray Houston, Merritt Reece Houston, Steven Nicholas Houston, Steven Daniel Houston, Nelson Blayne Houston, Christopher Reid Houston and several nieces and nephews.
