Eddie Jackson Deal, Jr., 53, of Cuthbert passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday November 23rd in the Cuthbert First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in East View Cemetery. Rev. Ben Crowdis and Rev. Russell Carlisle will officiate.

Eddie was born on December 15, 1959 in Cuthbert the son of the late Eddie Jackson Deal, Sr. and Joyce Toole Deal. He was a member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church and a retired millwright from Proctor and Gamble. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Louise D. Burham and a brother, Larry Deal.

Survivors include his wife Janice C. Deal of Cuthbert, two sons, Raymond Deal and Dennis (Belinda) Deal both of Cuthbert, a sister, Brenda Greene of Sylvester and a granddaughter, Kylie Deal of Cuthbert.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Lunsford Funeral Home.
