EDWIN REESE

Edwin Reese, 80, of Cuthbert, GA (Trinity Community) passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on October 18, 1945, to the late James Reese, Sr. and Lillie Mae Wooten Reese. There will be no visitation, and a celebration of Life service will be planned later.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shirley Hershberger Reese, one son, Stacy (Ricki) Reese of Leesburg, GA, his girls, April Montalvo of Albany, GA, Twila (Ed) Carmona-Reese of Sumter, SC, Lisa Evans of Leesburg, GA and Phaul Davis of Albany, GA, three beautiful granddaughters, Alex (Bobby) De Pew of Tampa, FL, Kyli (Logan) Goff of Leesburg, GA, and his heart Honoria Carmona-Reese of Sumter, SC, two special nieces, Ann Weeks and Gloria Fox of Leesburg, GA, two sisters, Nell (Roger) Walker, Denton, MT, Ellen Kibbee, Auburndale, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edwin loved the Lord Jesus and witnessed to all who would listen.
