Elizabeth Bentley Bell, 86, of Shellman, Ga. passed away in her sleep on early Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Shellman East View Cemetery with Rev. Olin Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Bell was born on October 18, 1929 in Shellman the daughter of the late Robert and Francis Bentley. She was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern, a Homemaker and a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, C. Leary Bell and a son, C. Leary Bell, Jr.

Survivors include a son, Robert (Bob) Bell of Shellman, a daughter-in-law, Cynda Bell, 4 granddaughters, Brandi, Katie, Jodi and Maegan, a grandson, Adam, 3 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Anne Johnson and Emily Barfield.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Curry Funeral Home.
