Ernest Lee Martin, 87, of Dawson, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at his residence. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Vilulah Baptist Church near Coleman with Rev. David Murphy officiating.

Mr. Martin was born on November 13, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, MO the son of the late Ira Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Mason Martin. He was a US Army Veteran, a retired self-employed truck driver and a member of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, George Leonard Martin and Clifford Franklin Martin.

Survivors include his companion, Emma Moody, a daughter, April (Josh) King, 3 sons, Roger Wade (Stephny) Martin, John D. (Terri) Martin and Warren Travis Martin, a sister, Rose Zella Pixley, a brother, Mark Ray (Brenda) Martin, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
