Florence Carolyn (Florece) Sheffield, 82 of Coleman died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Blakely. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 29th at 2:00 PM at Vilulah Baptist Church near Coleman with Rev. David Murphy officiating with interment to follow in the Vilulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Sheffield was born September 9, 1930 in Ft. Gaines, Ga. daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lucy Holloway Moore. She was a member of Vilulah Baptist Church, former Mayor of Coleman, a member of The Randolph County Historical Society and the Red Hats Society. Mrs. Sheffield formerly operated Florece's Hairstyles.

Survivors include her husband; James Edmond "Ed" Sheffield, of Coleman, 2 sons; Jami Sheffield of Coleman and Warren Cooper of Albany, 2 daughters; Lisa King and Kodi Kidd both of Blakely, a sister; Dorothy Williams of Lorida, Fl, and 3 grandchildren; Jason Simpson of Columbus, Cara Ashton of Athens and Kyle Kidd of Blakely.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Church. Memorials may be made to the Albany Easter Seals Chapter.
