Frances Iona Moore Giles, 84, of Ft. Gaines, Ga. departed this world for a better one on September 9, 2013 in Rockville, MD following a very brave battle with liver cancer. Memorial services will be conducted in her honor on Saturday November 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Fort Gainies Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Walter Flint officiating.

Mrs. Giles was born March 13, 1929 in Dennis MS the daughter of the late Curtis Lyle and Iona Davis Moore of Cullman, AL. She was the youngest of three children and was preceded in death by her two brothers, William (Bill) D. and Curtis Lyle Moore. She was married for 56 years to the late James A. Giles of Butler, GA. Together they raised two children, the late James A. Giles, Jr. and Carol Elaine Kay Giles.

Survivors include a daughter Elaine and very much loved nieces and nephews from both sides of the family.
