Frances Sanderlin Thompson, 93, of Cuthbert, passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Graveside funeral services, for immediate family, will be conducted in the Cuthbert Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Currie Spoon officiating.

Mrs. Thompson was born Mar. 23, 1928, in Clay County, GA the daughter of the late Lawrence Griffin and Ethel Clenney Sanderlin. She was a Homemaker, Bookkeeper for Ed's Texaco Service Station and a member of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edwin "Ed" Herschel Thompson, Sr.

Survivors include 2 sons, Edwin H. (Teenie) Thompson, Jr. of Cornelia, GA and Charles Ted (Veronica) Thompson of Dawson, a brother, Charles (Vangie) Walter Sanderlin of Americus, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial may be made to the Cuthbert First Baptist Church at P. O. Box 274 Cuthbert, GA 39840.
