Gary Lee Marshall, 80, of Claremore, OK passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Crowdis officiating.

Gary was born on March 23, 1938 in Abilene, Kansas the son of the late Henry Louis Marshal, Jr. and Minnie Earlinta Foster Marshall. He served with the United States Coast Guard and retired as a Staff Sergeant in the United States National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Richard Dean Marshall.

Survivors include his wife; Judy Grubbs Marshall of Claremore, OK, 2 sons, James Gary Marshall of Flushing, N.Y. and Gary Lee "Pete" Marshall, Jr. of Abilene, KS, 3 daughters, Leslie LeBlanc of Chapman, KS, Gail Hayes of Abilene, KS and Carey Casper of Wells, KS, a brother, Louis "Buzz' Marshall of Dayton, OH, a sister, Ruth Cairns of Solomon, KS, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.
