Homer Hollis Taylor, 88, of Carnegie passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with interment to follow in East View Cemetery in Cuthbert with Rev. George Atherholt and Rev. Joe Murkerson officiating.

Mr. Taylor was born November 24, 1926 in Cuthbert the son of the late Newton Caryle and Clara Hulsey Taylor. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, retired farmer and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Todd Taylor of Carnegie, 2 daughters, Joyce Bryant of Cuthbert and Teresa (David) Wentworth of Sylvester, a son, Robert (Karen) Taylor of Leesburg, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21st from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
